This "kit" includes most of what would be necessary to build your own heavy duty trailer if you have an existing frame or are handy with a bit of welding. It was removed from a sailboat trailer that I upgraded to 7000# axles for a heavier sailboat. The axles were mounted an a trailer with beams 72 1/4" apart.
My guess is that it is thirty years old but spent very little time actually on the road. I have used it as a yard trailer for winter storage at Dayton the last twenty years. At one point I replaced the brakes, which were only on one axle, with electric brakes, which are included and work fine. All hubs have Bearing Buddies, insuring that water has not penetrated hubs which maintain grease under pressure.
The brackets holding the suspension springs will need to be remanufactured, as the bolts were rusted shut and so brackets had to be cut off. The lug bolts and nuts will need to be replaced, as most of them unscrewed from the hubs when the wheels were removed due to rust. The ubolts holding the springs to the axles were also irretrievably rusted and had to be cut off. I found exact size stainless steel ubolts on Amazon for $40, complete with nuts and washers.
The tires are old, but all have good tread left. The rims are rusted. A lighter duty single axle only w/o brakes I saw at Tractor Supply was about this same price, without suspension and tires.
Includes used taillights and used wiring with 7 pin plug.
