Missoula painting contractor is looking for a highly experienced independent contractor painter for upcoming exterior residential painting projects in the Kalispell and Polson areas. We get a lot of customers in the Kalispell area asking us to do work for them, but since it’s so far from Missoula, we need to have some reliable painters to assist us to complete these projects.
We are seeking professional painters who take pride in their workmanship, communicate well with customers, and can consistently deliver high-quality results.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position with steady exterior work available for the right individual or crew.
Requirements:
• Must have extensive exterior painting experience
• Must provide professional references
• Must hold a current Montana ICEC (Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have your own painting tools and equipment
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and professional with homeowners
• Must understand proper prep work, masking, caulking, scraping, priming, and finish application
• Experience with ladders, sprayers, and exterior coatings required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Residential repaint experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong knowledge of exterior paint systems and application techniques
• Ability to maintain clean and organized job sites
• Crew leaders and small painting crews encouraged to apply
Compensation:
Contract Rate: Based on home size and level of difficulty (to be provided prior to starting work
