The Concrete Foreman is accountable for leading high-performing structural concrete operations on commercial and high-end residential projects. This role sets the standard for jobsite safety, quality, productivity, and professionalism. In collaboration with the Superintendent, the Foreman plans and directs daily work, ensures strict adherence to safety protocols, and delivers concrete work that meets structural and finish expectations.
Pay
$38 – $43 per hour (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
• Lead jobsite safety, enforce standards, correct unsafe behavior, and maintain zero tolerance for unsafe work
• Lead and supervise concrete/form carpentry crews
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work to maintain schedule and productivity
• Under guidance of the Superintendent, perform and oversee layout, formwork, concrete placement, and finishing (footings, walls, slabs)
• Ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient job site
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively with the Superintendent
• Hold crew accountable for safety, quality, and production expectations
• Mentor and develop crew members to improve skill and performance
• In conjunction with the Superintendent, coordinate with subcontractors and other trades
Qualifications & Expectations
• 5+ years of experience in concrete or carpentry, with proven leadership experience
• Strong commitment to safety and consistent enforcement of standards
• Strong knowledge of Symons formwork panels and concrete placement
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and run layout
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail with low tolerance for rework
• Valid driver’s license
