condition: like new
make / manufacturer: Martin
model name / number: The Martin Magna
A Vintage, EXTREMELY RARE, time-capsule beauty, "The Martin Magna" tenor trombone. Made in the USA, (circa 1959-60) This very high-end instrument had little apparent use and was well taken care of. It has been stored in the case for decades! You will rarely find one for sale!

It's in fantastic, near-perfect, mint condition overall with yellow and silver lacquer finishes that are still bright, glossy, and fresh-looking, especially considering its age.

Slides move freely and smoothly. Threads and locking mechanisms work great. New water-valve cork. It has good compression, solid intonation, and nice power. It plays well at all volumes - a very good jazz horn and perfect for a huge jazz or big band sound, bebop, or even classical.

Comes with a beautiful hard case in like new condition inside and out, cleaning and maintenance accessories (see photos), plus THREE (3) excellent condition newer mouthpieces: Yamaha Japan 47, Vincent Bach 6 1/2AL, and Benge 12C. (A $300+ new value) It's ready to play! They truly don't make them like this anymore! You won't be disappointed! *Don't miss your chance to own a piece of history and an amazing horn!

Was $2,495, now reduced by 20% to $1,995 cash, Venmo, or credit cards using Square (3.5% Fee) Sorry, no trades. Email, TEXT, or leave a message at 4Osix 2FIVEO 4OneOne7. Thanks!

Pick up in Kalispell off Hwy 2 W near Kelly Rae's Conoco & Smith Valley School or can meet nearby. Willing to ship at cost. ($100/est. USA only)

*A LITTLE HISTORY:
Founded in 1905 in Elkhart, Indiana, 'The Martin Company' established itself as a premier maker of musical instruments. Martin produced incredibly popular horns in its time, from saxophones to trombones and everything in between. Martin made 'The Martin Magna' as the successor of the 'Committee' line of horns, a deluxe version with a few new features that make the horn more sought after than earlier Martin and Committee models.
