Rare Vintage 1960s EKO (Made in Italy) Ranger 12-string electric acoustic guitar in rare original near-MINT condition and perfect working order. I've owned this guitar for over 50 years. It's had very little use.
Many famous rock artists and groups of the 1960s-70s used Italian-made VOXs and EKOs. (See photos) This EKO guitar features an X-braced spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The Rosewood fretboard features a tight grain and pearloid block inlays. The original open-back tuners turn smoothly with rounded oval buttons, and the raised transparent white and black EKO emblem is present on the headstock face, as well as a black EKO truss rod cover and "Made in Italy" print on the reverse side.
The thick tortoise batwing pickguard is intact and flat, showing virtually no scuffing in the pick path. A chrome neck plate displays the serial number, and the EKO label is intact within the soundhole. Cosmetically, this guitar is in great shape, with virtually no signs of wear, especially for a 55+-year-old guitar! (No wonder Jimmy Page loved this model!)
This EKO Ranger 12-string is ready for you to bring it back to the performance stage! Includes a nice, lined black case and a new set of 12 Martin Marquis Acoustic Bronze Strings.
Originally listed at $1,800, now only $950 FIRM, cash, Venmo, or Zelle. This is a super deal on a rare, near-mint, original-condition collector guitar! You won't find another one like it in this condition or at this price! You will be proud to own this one! Sorry, NO TRADES.
