In search of a single person with no pets who is responsible and fantastic with animals to be our caretaker for a housing trade located in a small guest house/farmhouse on a beautiful small hobby farm in between Columbia Falls and Whitefish (we pay most utilities) in exchange to caretake while we go out of town here and there. We live in a seperate home with seperate driveway on the property and the animals go to your house when we leave town. Must be available several weekends (one or two a month) and flexible some other random days throughout the 9 months sandwiching the weekends. We will give a heads up so you can work another job or leave town yourself. Farm chores will be a work/trade if we don't leave town enough each month to work off your rent. Don't care what days or hours you work off the rent each month if you need to. Mostly, the rent gets traded when we leave town. Must be more than happy to live with an indoor house pig when we leave town. He is Montana's famous pig on IG. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual who wants to trade caretaking only for housing in summer/spring/fall months and then the position becomes a PAID one in the winter months (3 months) in addition to free rent and utilities so it is a gig for someone who works from home or doesn’t work but doesn't want to pay rent or someone who just doesn't work another job in the winter months. Must be able to fetch/exercise/hike a German Shepherd. Must be very comfortable and loving towards a pet indoor pig. Must be comfortable with haying horses. Examples of work/trade rent tasks: Hike dogs. Rake. A cat. Chickens. Garden. Brush horses. Weed. Water. Plow. Move snow. Compost. We have a mini tractor and all the things that make it easy!
