Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and technologically proficient dental hygienist to become an essential part of our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining our patients’ oral health and helping them achieve radiant smiles. Your expertise will support our dentists and enhance patient care through the use of advanced dental technologies.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-quality dental care and hygiene instruction, collaborating effectively with our dental team to ensure exceptional patient experiences in a professional and friendly atmosphere. We promote work/life balance. We have options for both full or part time commitment. Ideal candidate would be able to work 35 to 40 hours weekly.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to detect oral health issues.
Remove calculus, stains, and plaque from teeth with dental instruments.
Take and develop dental X-rays.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, proper nutrition, and dental care practices.
Perform periodontal charting and maintain accurate patient records.
Conduct screenings for oral cancer and other dental diseases.
Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments.
Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements:
Montana state licensure and certification as a dental hygienist.
Proficiency in using dental tools and equipment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care.
Knowledge of dental software for maintaining patient records.
