Tips and Hints-
Farmers call them kamikaze birds for a reason, they are easily startled and already prone to injuring or otherwise hurting or killing themselves. When startled quail can suddenly hurtle themselves straight upwards of 6', this is called 'flushing'. Cages either need to be 12"/1'-6', any cage between those sizes can cause them to break their necks or become otherwise injured when engaging in that behavior. When cages are 12"(1'), they can't reach sufficient velocity to hurt themselves.
They are delicate birds and are not smart. Don't expect much from them and let yourself be surprised if you get a smart cookie.

The chicks I'll end up getting are silkie bantam mix or pure silkie, (possible blue-green easter egg, Ameracauna Silkie mix)
DNA testing on the chicks is available (for pre orders or upon request, I will not do vent sexing for chickens) if you want the sex guaranteed. As well as egg gene color testing for the ameracauna mix.
