Offering two 2025 rams. Not proven, however we have had zero fertility issues; I have no question of their ability. I planned to process them, but would we don’t need the meat at the moment.
These boys are raised using organic and holistic practices . They are fed organic feed in off grazing season (they are on pasture full time currently), they are not grain fed, we use no chemical wormers, and no jabs or meds have ever been used. We offer them free choice organic kelp, baking soda and Redmond minerals, and they drink fresh mountain spring water. They were ewe raised and have not been handled, therefore are not “pets”. The benefit of this is large. They tend to be vastly more respectful to humans this way. Both boys roo’d in late April (shed their fleece naturally without shearing).
$300 each
Icelandics are an amazing sheep for homesteaders that want a tri purpose sheep (milk, fiber, meat), and an animal that is very hardy, with little hands on required. Icelandic ewes do well lambing unassisted, and the breed tolerate the weather conditions without the need for specialized care.
I welcome any and all questions.
