Offering tequila hate to sell him, but he’s just not gonna work for what I need, Tequila is an 8-year-old 17hh Thoroughbred gelding with a sweet, puppy-dog personality that makes him a barn favorite. He’s been my main mount for the past few months. No buck,kick, or rear. Tequila is very responsive under saddle and easily adjusts to his rider’s pace, whether you’re looking for a relaxed ride or something with a more energy. He’s primarily been used for trail riding, but has also done a bit of everything. Has shown himself to be steady and unfazed in different environments. He is suitable for riders who know the basics and are comfortable being independent in the saddle, as he is straightforward and willing but still requires a confident, balanced rider. Good for beginners in a smaller pen or pasture. He is simple to catch, stands quietly for saddling and bridling, and has excellent overall manners. He gets along well with other horses and typically falls on the lower end of the pecking order. Now for the bad
He will not load in a smaller trailer
Has to have shoes on if being rode
Can get a little barn sour. Only is if I’m riding out alone with a little encouragement he stops tho.
