Cool Diamond Star, aka Rowdy, is a smart 2023 colt with a big hip. He comes from a cross of money-earning reining and cutting horse bloodlines, to include PLAYGUN on the sire’s side and BIG CHEX TO CASH on the dam’s side. Rowdy’s sire, COOL SON OF A GUN, was a money earner in team roping. His sire, PLAYGUN, had earnings in excess of 186k and sired offspring with earnings in excess of $8 million. On Rowdy’s dam’s side, BIG CHEX TO CASH sired offspring with earnings over $1 million. His sire, NU CHEX TO CASH, had over $57k in LTE. Rowdy leads and did well for his first trim. He and his dam are listed as sorrels on their papers but his dam is very dark now. Rowdy started turning dark until his winter coat came in. Will be ready for weaning before Christmas.
