..UPDATE.. I just had the engine rebuilt but it kept running hot for some mysterious reason...last spring I went to start it up and ran it for a few mins.. turned it off to disconnect the jumper cables and now the engine seems seized...when you turn the pulley by hand you can hear and feel something, hitting, like a valve dropped down in the the piston.. the current engine in it is a 1640 with, stock carb and vacuum distributor.it has a rebuilt transaxle new wheel bearings on all 4 corners..the interior has been modified... I took out the seat right behind the drivers seat and installed a propane heater, I ducted the heater to the front vents to defrost for winter driving. I built a cabnet over the heater and installed a 12v/110 refridgerator...it has a dual battery system, solar panels, bike rack, 1,500 dollar awning kit ..it comes with an extra 1776 engine block, wich I had installed at one point but it also ran hot and broke a valve when I was driving, the valve punched a hole in the top of the piston, webber carb and lots of extra engine parts.... ive owned this bus for 17 years, ive put a lot of blood, time, sweat and money into it, and every engine configuration ive put it in has ran ridiculously hot. (like over 360 degress oil temp)...It comes with 4 engine cases... 3 cases that are 1600..(only 1 of the cases is a bus case). 1 case was a 1776...lots of extra engine parts.. . you will need to give me $10,000 cash to get it away from me....no deals... if I cant sell it as is for $10,000 I will keep and someday make an attempt to get it running again...... its located in KILA MT 59920......serious inquiries only
