This sword was made in Italy for Museum Replicas Limited, by Del Tin, in the late 80’s. It was designed by Hank Reinhardt, an original co-founder of MRL. It is made out of CK55 Krupp steel, is fully-tempered and has an unsharpened, high polished high-carbon steel “furniture”. The “running wolf maker's mark” is clearly visible on the blade. This sword and its scabbard hung on a wall as an ornament for years so both are in near-perfect condition: the leather wrap on the grip is in perfect-original condition; the blade is nearly unblemished, with just a few spots of rust; the cross-guard has a wave (or fan) pattern and has a few scratches and spots of rust. The black leather-covered leather scabbard has steel accents with some rust and a tiny tear on one side (<1/4”).
